Justin Morneau - MVP or Mirage?
Hats off to Morneau who beat out my Yankee captain for the Most Valuable Player award. Justin Morneau hit .321 with 34 HRs and 130 RBIs in 2006, after having previously hit .248 with 45 HRs and 153 RBIs in 876 previous major league at bats. So what's the story? Understand How To Seperate Yourself From The Rest Of The Pack
I've always been disappointed with the lack of risk fantasy publications take when projecting numbers for the upcoming year. While you can certainly understand the position they have to take, it makes a lot of the information indifferent. At the same time, I would absolutely agree that to be able to successfully project such numbers for the entire baseball universe would fall under the category of impossible.

Below is a list of months Juan Pierre has hit below .270: 2006 - (April .258, May .226) 2005 - (May .226, June .262, August .

Bunt Young, Bunt Often In Little League
Bunting is a very big part of baseball. And, when a bunt is laid down the right way, it is very difficult to defend. I have always been big on bunting, and feel it can be taught at a young age. There are basically two types of bunts: the square bunt and the pivot bunt. My preference is the pivot bunt because the players just pivot on their toes and do not have to lift their feet. Once in a playoff game, I had a player perform a square bunt, and he put down a perfect bunt, and beat it out.
Little League Tee Ball, Planting Positive Seeds
Tee Ball is the most popular youth baseball program in Little League, including other youth baseball leagues around the country, and has the most participants. As the 5- and 6-year-olds whom participate in Tee Ball get older, there is a drop off in youth baseball participation each year. Traditionally the largest drop off of players in most youth leagues occurs after players reach their twelfth birthday.
